The 7th Annual Mountain State Overland Adventure X Fest presented by OK4WD is now LIVE! The same great adventure basecamp on 400 acres of private mountain property with many more exciting experiences that we’ve ever hosted before. Come, camp, explore and celebrate with friends and family on the grounds of Experience Learning in Circleville WV.
This year, your AXF Camping Pass includes a sticker, a raffle ticket (for each person in your vehicle), a patch, a digital PDF overland route map (courtesy iADV.info) and two (2) “Happy Hour” beverage tickets when you arrive at the event.
Here’s just a taste of what you can do at AXF:
NEW! Caving - Explore one of WV highest caves with 2 experienced caving instructors. Limited to 20 guests. Sign up when you arrive at AXF.
NEW! Orienteering - Hike to Spruce Knob with a trained guide only using a map and compass. Limited to 10 guests. Sign up when you arrive at AXF.
NEW! Guided Overlanding - Travel forest roads with an MSO guide and visit historical destinations. Limited to 5 guest vehicles. Sign up when you arrive at AXF.
NEW! HQ Camping - Pitch camp near all the entertainment. Camp on the lawn right beside Event HQ and enjoy easy access to the community fire and a shorter walking distance to the bath house. Limited to 6 campsites.
NEW! Saturday Lunch - Enjoy lunch on the deck at Event HQ after a morning of adventure. Requires purchasing at Event HQ or with a Meal Plan.
AXF TL! Day - Add two (2) nights of camping and a day of volunteering with Team MSO, the US Forest Service and Tread Lightly. Limited to 15 guests. For more details, visit AXF Tread Lightly Day.
Self-Guided Tours - Navigate the local forest roads and overland tracks with your iADV maps.
Family Fun - AXF is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages including games, races, crafts and plenty of green space to spread out and play.
Dine and Celebrate - Dine for breakfast and dinner with Mountain Table and celebrate your day during Happy Hour. Trevor Thomas is back to perform each evening when the community fires are lit.
Win Big - Have a chance at the Big Raffle, Blue Ridge Overland Gear Best Of Awards and a Sunday Farewell for a chance to win prizes and MSO Guided Trips. One ticket per driver and passenger. No additional tickets will be sold.
