All NEW for 2025 - the MSX Pro Series! For our Pro Series trips we’re adding an extra day of travel and new way to explore the Mountain State.
For this southern WV expedition, we’ll be overlanding in your rig for two (2) days, spending one (1) full day float fishing the New River in rafts and four (4) nights camping under the stars in WV. We’ve locked in a professional fishing guides and some Rocky Mountain Rafts with fishing frames to float us down through the New River National Park. Experience the rush of whitewater and the thrill of catching fish all day long right in the middle of your overland trip.
The MSX track we’ll be driving is the similar to the track we traveled for MSX 30, MSX 26 and MSX 19 and will likely be modified while we scout for new routes. Face obstacles that will challenge you and views that will blow your mind! Let Mountain State Overland be your guide on an unforgettable adventure in southern WV.

Trip Detail | Two (2) full days in your rig, one (1) full day fishing from a raft, four (4) nights of camping, ±300 miles of varying terrain including gravel, dirt, pavement, creek crossings, hill climbs, off camber and mud.
Camping | Fee based public and private campgrounds (camping fees included)
Rentals | A raft for you and a passenger has been reserved in advance. No prior rafting experience required. Each raft will be guided by professional guides.
